Transmission rebuild service
Male Transmissions
We will rebuild your transmission if you send with motor. The price varies based on the condition of the received transmission. A basic rebuild includes bearings, belt and housing repair for $300.00.
If your Chain sprocket is damaged or excessively worn, there will be an additional $225.00 replacement fee.
Female Transmissions
Serial#s below 030000 on the 2500Ecut have a female transmission
A basic rebuild includes bearings, belt, and housing repair for $300.00
If your cutting unit electronic drive shaft is worn or damaged, an additional $155.00 will be charged.
Note about Grease Lubrication
The transmissions do not require lubrication and are not meant to have grease inside. Applying grease will temporarily quiet a worn transmission, but it is a temporary fix and will cause further damage.
The coupling spline to mower reel requires greasing but the transmission does not.
