Female Transmissions
Serial#s below 030000 on the 2500Ecut feature a female transmission. If your cutting unit's electronic drive shaft is worn or damaged, there will be an additional charge of $155.00 for the necessary E-cut motor repair. Please note that we specialize in both male and female transmissions, and depending on its condition, a rebuild transmission may be required along with other transmission repair services.
Note about Grease Lubrication
The transmissions, which include both male and female types, are designed to operate without lubrication or grease. While adding grease may temporarily address issues during an E-cut motor repair by quieting a worn transmission, it's merely a short-term fix that could necessitate a more comprehensive rebuild of transmissions due to potential further damage.
